What is the process of having a gate built?

What is the process of having a gate built?

How long will it take for TXGates to build and install my gate?

After the drawing is approved it usually takes 30 days or less.

How long does it take for the installation of my gate?

On site installation takes about 2-4 business days depending, whether or not, it’s a single or double gate and the number of accessories.

What size post is used for the gate to hang on and how deep is it in the ground?

6″ square tubing post with 3/16″ wall thickness is used for the gate to hang on. It is set, with concrete, at least 3′ in the ground.

What kind of material are the gates made from?

Our frames are made from 1-1/2″square tubing or 2″ that’s 14ga, with 3/4″square tubing for our pickets. All letters are cut out of 1/8″ thick material.

What type of payment methods are accepted?

Cash, Check, Master Card, Visa, AMEX and Discover Card

What type of deposit is required for custom work?

50% non-refundable deposit to get started and the balance at completion. Anything under $600 we require total payment up front. With more complicated installs we may do a 50% down, 40% when the gate is installed and 10% at completion.
